Botulinum Toxin Injections
Botulinum Toxin therapy involves the injection of a highly purified form of the Botulinum toxin Type A into specific facial muscles.
The purpose of this treatment is to temporarily paralyze or weaken the targeted muscles, thereby reducing or eliminating wrinkles and fine lines that are caused by repeated facial expressions and ageing effect. This treatment is most commonly used to treat wrinkles and fine lines on the forehead, between the eyebrows, and around the eyes.
The procedure typically takes only a few minutes to complete, and the effects can be seen within a few days (4- 7 days). The effects typically last for 4-6 months or even more, and the procedure can be repeated as needed to maintain the desired results.

Patients should avoid taking blood-thinning medications, including aspirin and non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), at least one week prior to the procedure to minimize the risk of bruising or bleeding at the injection site. Alcohol should also be avoided for 24 hours before treatment.
Combining Botulinum Toxin with dermal fillers and other aesthetic treatments has become a popular option among clients seeking a more comprehensive facial rejuvenation. The combination is often called a “liquid facelift” because it can provide a similar effect to a surgical facelift, but without the downtime and risks associated with surgery.
